Overview

A global asset management company with over $1 trillion in Assets Under Management (AUM) sought to enhance their competitive edge in a rapidly evolving industry. The client services team, including Relationship Managers, Business Development professionals, Directors, and Managers, needed a solution to streamline their focus on deals and new product initiatives.

Challenge

The sales enablement and client analytics team wanted to proactively share key performance indicators to the client services team. These include metrics on AuM flows, deal pipeline, traction of key products, etc. While this data was available in various Tableau dashboards, the team required a simplified and personalized view tailored to specific contexts (global, regional, and product-focused).

Solution

 Our AI team developed an automated email reporting system that leveraged the existing Tableau infrastructure. This approach ensured consistency between dashboard metrics and AI-generated summaries. The solution included:

  1. Utilization of Hyper, Tableau’s in-memory data engine, to aggregate metrics into a unified view
  2. Configuration of analytical summaries based on audience context (e.g., global KPIs for head of sales, region-specific metrics for EMEA teams)
  3. Weekly automated delivery of customized summaries to specific teams
  4. Inclusion of links to relevant Tableau dashboards for deeper data exploration
  5. Implementation of the entire system using Python

The automated reporting service delivered significant benefits:
